Ingredients
- 4 red onions, sliced very thinly
- 1 tbsp sumac
- 1 tsp salt
- juice of 2 lemons
Directions
In a bowl, mix together the thinly sliced red onions, sumac, salt, and lemon juice. Ensure that everything is well combined.
- Allow the mixture to marinate for about an hour. The lemon juice will help mellow the harshness of the raw onions, enhancing their flavour.
- After marinating, give it a quick mix before serving. Enjoy!
