Need an easy dessert for your next big family meal? This apple crumble is the perfect choice!
Ingredients
- 14 apples, peeled and cut into halves
- juice of a lime (or lemon)
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 280g flour
- 200g rolled oats
- 220g unsalted butter, diced
- 50g pumpkin seeds (optional)
- 40g desiccated coconut (optional)
- 250g brown sugar
- 1.5 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- ice cream to serve!

Directions
For the apples, simply mix through the lime juice, sugar and cinnamon and placed into an oven-safe dish.
- Then, get your crumble ready by adding all the ingredients to a bowl and rubbing the butter into the dry ingredients until you form a sandy consistency.
- Sprinkle the crumble over the top of the apples then place the whole thing into a 180c oven for 40 minutes or until golden brown and the apples are cooked through.
- Serve hot with vanilla ice cream and enjoy!
