I went to a crepe restaurant in Melbourne recently and remembered how much I love sweet and savoury crepes. Here's a recipe for the one of the best combos, banana and nutella crepes.
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 300ml (10 fl oz) milk
- 40g (1.4 oz) caster sugar
- pinch of salt
- 115g (4 oz) plain flour (all-purpose flour)
- 30g (1 oz) melted butter (plus more for cooking)
- nutella for serving
- bananas for serving
- icing sugar to garnish
Directions
To make the batter, add the eggs, milk, sugar, and salt to a bowl and whisk until combined.
- In a separate bowl, weigh out the flour. Gradually whisk the wet mixture into the flour until you have a smooth batter.
- Next, whisk in the melted butter.
- Place a non-stick pan over medium heat and brush a little butter on the pan. Pour in a ladle of batter and roll it around the pan to cover the surface.
- Cook for 30 seconds before adding Nutella and banana slices. Fold the crepe over and place it on a plate.
- Garnish with a dusting of icing sugar and serve!
